Hurry Up and Slow Down

This is the perfect description of the week before competition.  You know when the wods are going to be announced, you stress out…you think about it….you dream about it….you ponder about it….and  you watch the clock. HURRY UP….HURRY UP….HURRY UP!!!!

Then the wods are announced and what do you do….you start back tracking.  I’m not ready….i need a few more days….SLOW DOWN, SLOW DOWN…SLOW DOWN. 

The truth is, you’ve worked hard.  Your dedication has prepared you for this.  Sit back and enjoy the experience.  

This weekend’s wods:

WOD 1
5 Rounds For Time (completed with a weighted vest throughout 30/15lbs):
7 Deadlifts – 225/155lbs
11 Burpees

WOD 2
Sandbag Sprints
The distance, number of sandbags and weight to be announced at event.

WOD 3
2 Rounds For Time:
Row 500M
15 Overhead Squat – 95/65lbs
Row 500M
15 Toes-to-Bar

WOD 4
Will be announced after the third WOD’s final heat!
