After the after

On January 1 I committed to a 3-on-1 off training schedule, a paleo-zone diet and Advocare.  To say that I’ve have good results would be an understatement.   I couldn’t tell you what I weigh as I don’t own a scale, but I know my body fat % is down and my work capacity is up.  See for yourself.

  1-Jan 1-May
Deadlift 235 275
Clean & Jerk 125 145
Back Squat 175 205
Snatch 75 95
Filthy Fifty 25 something 17:43
Fran 4:45 3:45
Grace 5:58 3:16
Muscle Ups 0 25 in Tuesday’s Wod
Handstand Pushups 0 38 in last weeks wod

This started more as an experiment than anything else. I thought I was in pretty good shape, but I wanted to see what a little added dedication and commitment would do for me.  After the results I’ve seen I’m staying the course I’m on.  I can’t wait to see what the Jan 1, 2011 pic is going to look like, and what kind of weights I’ll be pushing around.

It’s all about striving to better myself physically, mentally and emotionally.  For me CrossFit allows me to strengthen all of these in one not so pretty and kind of painful little package.

How badly do you want it?
How far will you push yourself?
What are you willing to sacrifice to get it?

Today’s WOD: REST aka….skill work

  1. Wow-Impressive! Good luck at regionals this weekend.

I would love to see a sampling of a few days worth of your diet in a blog posting and how you time your Advocare supplements throughout the day.

  2. yeah. i second amm’s request– i would be very interested in a sample of your diet 🙂

  3. I didn’t realize that Crossfit/Paleozone/Advocare caused new ink to pop out of your side 😉 I’ll try Paleozoning and see what shows up on my side!
