There is SOOOOOO much information out there on dieting and excersice it’s easy to get confused and not know where to start or what works for you. My suggestion, if you want to be big and strong be your own guinea pig.
You can do all the research you want, but there’s no way to guarantee that you’ll have the same results as someone else. You may not like it. It may not keep you motivated. You may not get the results you want. The only way to know what works for you is to try it. What have I tried in the past?
Diet wise: I started on a zone, moved to paleo, then to paleo zone, and today is day one of an intermittent fast. I like the idea of eating a protein, fat and carb at each meal, I don’t like having to live on a schedule and weigh and measure everything. Eating paleo is easy…if it’s processed, you can’t eat it. Simple!
Workout wise: Olympic lift strength program maxing once a week, 3 one 1 off, wednesday and Sunday as rest days, CF Football, and now, wendler 531. I know that I need to improve my strength overall and utilize more olympic lifts so I’m using wendler 4 days a week and utilizing crossftis 3 on 1 off schedule. We’ll see.
I don’t usually reccommend anything to a client without having tried it myself. If I don’t know what results I can expect, I certainly can’t set expectations for others.
Today’s wod: Bench Press: 88lbs x 5, 101lbs x 5, 115 x 11 followed by
3 Push Press on the min for 12 minutes at 105lbs
