What’s that on my butt?

Everyone that has done a wod with abagillion sit ups with an abmat knows what I’m talking about. Those little red sore spots you get here….

on either side of your butt crack.  You will always remember the first time you got in the shower, the water hits it, and you jump out of the water from sheer stinging pain, and you scream ‘WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!?!?!?

It’s a spot where you’ve rubbed the skin raw, it’s that simple.  We’ve had some of our members go to docs to figure out what it is.  Others that pull you aside and ask your advice in the shadows because they’re embarrassed.

Guess what…..we’ve all had one, and it’s yet another strange quirk that bonds us all as crossfitters.  I recommend A&D ointment or vitamin E to help clear up the damage already done.

  1. Haha! I did Annie on Saturday on a concrete pad. Needless to say, I have the baboon butt remnants which draw odd looks when taking a shower at the Base gym. Of course, I sometimes wonder why they are looking at my butt…

  2. One of my male members told me that if you don’t have enough “junk in your trunk” that you’ll get this little raspberry. I said, “I’ve never had one” to which he replied, “exactly, you have enough butt so that you don’t get it.”

    STOP THE BUS. What is THAT supposed to mean? 🙂
