It’s almost embarrassing….

I’m almost embarrassed to admit this, but I feel like I got hit by a bus from yesterday’s skill sessions at Coca CrossFit.  What did it entail?  Teaching the kipping pullup for 10-15 minutes to 6 classes.

It left me with a blister in my right palm, sore hands all over and my lats on FIRE!  How sad is that.  Now I know that I’ve been on complete rest for 12 weeks and I just got out of my back brace, and I’m starting back slow……..BUT COME ON!!!!!

I’m quickly realizing that starting back to CrossFit is like starting all over again.  Ok, that’s a bit of an over statement, but I am realizing that I’m not nearly where I was.  I will get back to where I was, but not over night.  So for now I’ll baby my soft girlie hands and roll out my lats.

  1. Trying to show people how to kip is horrible on your hands. Done it. Kipping is hard on the paws in general. Doing gigantic, exaggerated kips is way worse. It’s not just you.
