This is a statement I have to remind myself and my members of all the time.
Something that I’ve started doing at Coca is not providing a suggested weight or even a percentage. Why? Because I’m trying to get my members to learn to listen to their bodies. It’s more about the weight of the day than the weight on the board.
Maybe you didn’t sleep enough. Maybe you’re dehydrated. Maybe stress at work has you through the roof. There are 1,000 factors that’ll will have a direct affect on your ability to produce a result.
Listen to your body and do what you can that day. Being ‘bad ass’ is training smarter.
