……60 hang power cleans at 95lbs.
Yup, it was 90 degrees today, and I had to complete 60 hang power cleans at 95lbs – broken into 30 with a push jerk and 30 with a push press.
It was the first day I really pushed my knee under a decent load and over all it held up pretty well. I could tell by the end of the hang power clean push jerks I was favoring my right knee. Honestly- less because it hurt, and more because it was just tired. I haven’t really used in 8 months and if fatigued.
Needless to say by the end of the first 30 the LAST thing I wanted to do was another 30. It was so damn hot I was dripping in sweat and it felt like no matter how much chalk I used I couldn’t keep a hold of the bar.
5 hours later I’m not in pain, but I can tell I used my knee today. I have a feeling I’ll back it down a few days and let the knee rest after a hard days work.
